ABOUT ABOUT

In partnership with Urban Promise Boatworks, come join Young Friends of Independence Seaport Museum for a scenic paddle on the Cooper River. This is a great chance to learn about the ecological and industrial history of the Delaware Watershed. The route finishes with stunning views of the Philadelphia skyline from the back channel of the Delaware River.  Escape the city heat for a fun and refreshing summer evening on the water!

Ticket sales support Urban Promise's ongoing participation in the Seaport's SAILOR Program. SAILOR’s interdisciplinary curriculum is about hands-on, project-based learning within the Museum’s Workshop on the water. Tickets are $20 with a Young Friends' or Seaport Museum membership or $30 for non-members. Click here to become a member.

We will meet up at 5:30 pm on June 17th in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Urban Promise will provide transportation to the launch site. Bring shoes you don't mind getting wet and a water bottle. After signing up, participants will receive a sheet with more information including directions and a waiver.
